Fiskville Rose Garden

In 2010, Knight’s donated 20 Firestar Roses to begin a special memorial garden opposite the Memorial Wall at Fiskville. The new garden was unveiled at the Annual Memorial Service on 2 May 2010.

Following the tragic Ash Wednesday fires of 1983, CFA established a Memorial Wall dedicated to the men and women of CFA who lost their lives while serving their community.

The Memorial Wall was completed and opened at CFA’s Training College, Fiskville in April 1987. The wall consists of plaques showing the name, fire brigade and date of the incident of each firefighter who has lost their life since the inception of CFA in 1944.

An Annual Memorial Service takes place at Fiskville each year in May.
